What is The Elm Research Institute?

ELM RESEARCH INSTITUTE, a non-profit organization, was established in 1967 to rally support from the private sector for DED research. Through grants and membership dues, E.R.I. research led to the development of a preventive injection for American elms and the introduction of the disease-resistant AMERICAN LIBERTY ELM.

Liberty Tree Society Membership

Yes...I would like to join the Liberty Tree Society and Support its goals...

First: to fulfill the goal of Governor Peabody by establishing August 14th as Liberty Tree Day, not just in Massachusetts, but in all 50 states.

Second: to dedicate Liberty Tree Memorials in 1,000 communities.

Third: to tell the exciting story of the Liberty Tree in classrooms across the land.

Fourth: to continue the "Re-Elming" of America by planting disease-resistant American Liberty Elms in public spaces nationwide.  

My membership fee of $50 includes the following items:

1. (1) 3ft American Liberty Elm...ready-to-plant
2. (1) Personalized Bronze Member's Donor Plaque...mount outside with tree
3. (1) Personalized Membership Certificate...suitable for framing
